Frankly, I don't know much about real estate and less more when it comes to the Middle East. Go figure...So I've been hearing all this buzz about Dubai and that it's the happening place in the Middle East, so I tell myself, what the heck, go..so I pack my bags and take a vacation there. I never really knew what to expect, as it was my first trip to an Arab country, lo and behold, I was surprised...lots o' stuff do, the Desert Safari and the Wild Wadi and the malls were awesome. Thank God for tax free!
Upon further observation, I realize that it was interesting place to do some property hunting there. Of course, I'm an idiot when it comes to this stuff, so I get to talking to some property folks and they were really helpful. In spite of the global crisis going on, properties are still moving over there. There's this one particular website, http://www.rootsland.com/, that really got me educated with the properties thing. The staff were very accomodating and I was able to check out some of the places that are on my budget. Makes me realize that all the hype about Dubai and everything in it was well worth it.
